Weddings at the Athol Congregational Church
Our Sanctuary is a beautiful setting to celebrate your wedding! We also offer our large Fellowship Hall with a commercial kitchen available for rental for your rehearsal dinner or your reception.
Because there are often many questions and details to work out for your big day, we ask that you contact our church office to schedule a conversation. Our general policy is that if you wish to be married in our church, one of our pastors would be hired to perform the ceremony. That being said, we are flexible and would be happy to have a conversation about other officiants. It is also customary for our organist to have the right of first refusal to play at a wedding, should he be available for your particular date and time. If you are interested, please note that booking well in advance would be wise as we have many events that occur in our building and we want to accommodate you if at all possible.
Custom tailored ceremonies
Our Pastors love to officiate weddings and are available to perform a traditional church service on site, or at your preferred location for a fee. Both are also available to perform same-sex weddings. Your service, if crafted by our Pastors, can be as religious as you would like, it can be entirely secular should you wish…or anything in between! Our role is to help you have a meaningful ceremony that will mark your special day as sacred in whatever way works for you.
